How You Can Help

Each time we hold a self-defense class or seminar, we pay room rental and provide handouts. To cover these expenses, we ask students for donations. Class fees may or may not cover our expenses. You can sponsor a class by donating $100 – $500 for a short seminar or a full multi-session class.

In return, we will provide you with materials to promote your involvement and promote your organization as we recruit students for class.

As a nonprofit all volunteer organization, your donations help us buy supplies and safety equipment for our classes. In addition, we carry insurance, incur expenses in publicizing our self-defense classes, and pay fees for tax filings to maintain our nonprofit status.

The LADY Program is a branch of MASD, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation. Your donation to this nonprofit organization may be tax deductible. Please check with your tax advisor for further information.

While these are not paid positions, all volunteers may participate in any and all self-defense classes. No experience is necessary, just a desire to help others.
