2 Hour Seminar

Hour 1 – Discussion

  • Class Goals
  • What is the definition of self-defense
  • The three C’s
  • What are the real threats to our safety
  • The 6 levels of self-defense
  • The 5 phases of an assault
  • Environmental Self-Defense
  • Behavioral Self-Defense
  • Verbal Self-Defense
  • Physical Training

Hour 2 – Physical Training

  • The Basics – You will learn the core of defending yourself.
    These techniques are effective in many situations.

Homework

  • Practice, Practice, Practice

What’s Next

While this class offers basic techniques effective in many situations, we encourage you to continue your training. More advanced classes, such as our 3 or 5 week class, delves deeper into the topics discussed here.

The more knowledge you have of non-physical and physical self-defense, the more prepared you will be during an assault

4 Hour Seminar

Hours 3 & 4 – Special Topics

  • The final two hours of class will be devoted to discussions and physical training related to special topics. The class topic(s) is typically pre-determined by the class sponsor or organizer. Students are encouraged to raise issues and questions.

Padded Man Class
  • During this class session, we will concentrate on the physical techniques you have learned. A Padded Man Attack will give you a practical but safe environment to practice your skills.

While our classes offer an in depth look at self-defense, your training will fade without practice. The LADY Program offers continuing classes through a self-defense club and will be happy to arrange continuing education classes for those interested.
